During the evenings on weekends however, it opens as a dinner hub with Authentic Sri Lankan cuisine through Hopper nights on Fridays and tantalizing cocktails that sets the mood for a relaxing and enjoyable evening for everyone.
Nilly flowers also boasts a vast portfolio of events both indoor as well as external private events via catering or designing. It is a place for everyone both within and out of the community, constantly expanding and adapting to the requests of its humble community to make it one of the most remarkably beautiful and ideal spots in North West London.

and Son, (Adeesha) it has grounded it’s standing on one of the most beautiful and prolific places to see
in it’s area. With the offset of a floristry in the front, people walk in to further to realise it is so much more than just a floristry. A beautiful selection of plants in the hallway and cascading floating plants throughout the venue with live wood cut across the bar and the walls, it is a haven to one’s eyes just walking through it.
Nalika Kahawattage (Nilly) is a proud florist of over 20 years of experience but as a cook over 40 years,
cooking both Traditional Sri Lankan food and western food in both non professional environments as well as corporate environments. Nilly is an award winning Florist with experiences from the likes of Moyses and Stevens and arrangements for Burberry under her belt but as much as she loves her floristry work, her food has been a major passion and attribute in her life.
She has always wanted to spread high quality Sri Lankan Food with authentic ingredients and methods that have passed down generationally across the community. Supper Clubs on Friday nights and Sunday Brunches have been a hallmark for her skills to be displayed with passion, fun and genuine love towards her cooking and her consumers that embrace her food with her.

Nilly cooks variety of Curry’s on that night, both meat options, fish as well as vegetarian and vegan
options. This includes, Dhal (Lentils), Sambals, Hoppers and for brunches and private events, she also
does string hoppers and kotthu to name a few.
Her list of skills is exhaustive and exemplary to her work ethic and ethos. She embraces hard work with
passion every step of the way. Hospitality in her eyes is a natural instinct to take care of someone else –
It’s success brims on the hope that you can connect with one another. She believes; “The product
whatever it may be, must be consistent and to a high enough standard to hold a status on your brand
name but the service must be without a doubt impeccable. Nothing more nothing less”.

2023 Best Business in Brent award shines when she only had a floristry stall front that year. Now with a beautiful paradise of a floral bar and café this only sets the tone of their success.
Mother and Son featured in both Brent Magazine and Vittles Magazine for their food and flowers last year, whilst reaching over a 1000 followers in only 10 months of opening a new business and over 150 Five Star Reviews over google, leading them as one of the highest rated Florist in all of London.
Having done several events together at Nilly Flowers from Jazz nights, Baby Showers, Corporate parties, birthdays, paint and sip nights, Christmas parties and many more, they have brightened up their local Community of Harlesden.
Adeesha is a seasoned Mixologist having curated menu’s, worked with several spirit brands as well as
working with other great mixologists. He boasts over 10 years in the trade from bartending, bar management, coffee art, directing, event management, catering and pure mixology.
His work blends perfectly with Nilly’s Floral designs. Every cup of tea and coffee is garnished with a beautiful flower on their side plate for their customers to take home. Every drink is made with such precision to both the food menu for their supper clubs as well as his passion towards cocktails he’s learnt from around the world and his experiences. Both specialising in domestically well know spirits as well as nieche spirits such as Arrack from Sri Lanka, Palinka from Hungary, Sake from Japan and many more.

The true art to his work however is the simplicity. No need for clarifications or over exerted designs or
even pre batching. Everything is made fresh, raw and most specially – organic. No artificial colouring, no liqueurs, no sugar syrup, only raw, fresh and dry herbs, spices and high clarity spirits with effective techniques.
He is a huge fan of agave as it’s sweetener but he tries to break the misconception of drinks needing to be overly sweet or bitter. Balance is key. He tries to blend ingredients with precision to create a feeling of homely nostalgia which he achieves from the countless return customers.
